Painted Pardulon Tank
« on: April 23, 2007, 07:23:25 PM »
Man, I had to have one of Pardulon's tanks and simply do the obvious thing with it...
Creating a scene from Indy!

The whole thing was built and painted in a very short amount of time considering I am quite a slow painter. The miniatures are from Artizan. Although I could not be in London for Salute, Jens from Pardulon entered it on my behalf in the competition, and it made second place in the 'Miscellaneous' category!!

Enjoy the pics!

And you managed to resist? Please tell me you secret  :D

You did a great job, Vikotnik. Great painting, nicely done with Indy and the German. Lovely barbed wire. Can you let us know how you made it?

Thanks for the nice comments!
:)

There is a very good tutorial about making barbed wire on CoolMiniornot:

http://www.coolminiornot.com/article/aid/402/page/1

It is imperative that You,unlike me, use a soft wire for the 'barbs'(Is that the correct word?), the whole process will last hours if You do not...

Believe me, I know!

I used 0.5mm steel wire for the whole thing, the thickness looks right in 28-30mm scale.
