Congratulations to all the participants!

Admiral Benbow once again proves why he is "The Queen's Own Gizmologist", though I must say he had some awesome competition.

A special thanks goes to the folks organizing the contest, which was superb.  Very interesting to see the works in progress and then the final painted models.

Well done to all!

First I like to thank Paul, Hammers and Alex for offering this great opportunity to build "something". This was the perfect excuse to start (and finish ...!) a long planned project.

Congrats to all participants, there were many fine models and building threads to admire and lots of nice techniques and modelling tricks to learn.

And of course thanks to all the voters, I really hope the one or other will be another participant in the next building competition.

Last, but not at all least: it was fun, and proved once again that we all need to get something new to drool over every Monday morning!

 :)

Folks, I had very little to do with it. The cred should go to Overlord.

Its likely that this will be just the first Build Something contest with further contests on an irregular basis, similar to the LPL.

I look forward to the many more occasions where I can fail to finish an entry by the deadline  :D

Great contest all around - it was almost as much fun building something as it was watching the progress of the other projects.

I hope to see one or two of these entries in real life - Admiral Benbow, will your ship be at Tactica? I need to have a closer look at the engine :)

Overlord, thanks again for organizing this!
