I have plenty of women and children - and native villagers as well (a make do).  And I have some FIW unarmed civilian men.  But I'd like to find more appropriate to the Caribbean Spanish possessions if I can.  So, any thoughts on who makes such figures - suitable unarmed men?

Blue Moon has a couple of packs but they include women and children so means buying figures I don't really need.  Hoping someone knows of something I don't.

Thanks.

Have a look at period artillery crew and command groups?

Artillery crews just might work - and Blue Moon's ECW range has a pack of engineers and a camp pack that might work.  Command not so much, too military looking, but I know what you mean - sometimes they work.

So, looking through options and realized - with a significant "oh, duh!" moment - that I should have more than enough unarmed civilian men already primed and ready for painting in my Three Musketeers collection.

Potentially 'problem' solved.  And if not enough, I can probably dragoon in the most appropriate figures from my Robin Hood and Jousting set-ups; might not be a 'perfect' match but probably only need a relatively small number and there are likely enough generic figures to work.

Unless...I decide I want the figures painted a bit different.  We shall see.

As you appear to have answered your own question Fifteensaway, you won't want to hear me ask: "what size 15mm? True 15mm, 15mm, 15/18, or 18mm?"

For smaller 15mm Peter Pig - pirates, AWI and ECW ranges have a few packs between them. Larger, yes it's the Blue Moon ECW range to the rescue.

Apologies if this leads you astray into spending money  ;)
