NobGoblins
« on: 25 June 2025, 07:54:05 PM »
These buggers are about as basic as you get. The Nobgoblins are a throw-back to the era of Fantasy I grew up in. Frazetta book covers, Heavy Metal magazine, Ral Partha Orcs. These minis are general purpose subterranean baddies suitable for Fantasy, Horror and Pulp genres.

I've done two weapon/shields equipment sets for them, metal and stone age.

Not quite ready for release. I might hold a Kickstarter if the economic situation is stable enough, ie. no rapid swings in exchange rates or tariff uncertainty.

They will also be available through North Star.

Wow very basic but great figures - simple, no frills design and cleanly sculpted.
I can see me getting some of those when they become available - been looking for some goblinoid baddies for a while and these tick the right boxes.
Nicely done sir.

Well they certainly are.

There is a rather shy fellow in the last group.

Great sculpts! If they‘d grew hair and beards, these could pass for early humans like Homo Erectus or Homo Habilis…

House Elves gone bad? Dobby and mates flip out and break into the armoury after prolonged steroid abuse.

I am considering doing something of the sort. Perhaps for ERB like Oparian apemen.

Ooooh superb I want them! I like the bronze weapons.

Purple? interesting color choice.

I've painted all my (some very old) Goblins red brick, still following the AD&D Monster Manual as when I painted the first of them.  :) But this blue-ish colour is interesting too.
