Hello, one and all,
Things over here at Bayonets and Brushes are starting to feel like they are picking up a head of steam and we have a slew of posts to share with you with bags full of miniature dice dealing miniatures.

We thought we would start the ball rolling with some new releases for one of our existing ranges (actually, other than the SCW probably our tentpost range) and that’s the Dutch Metropolitan Army from 1940 and the KNIL from all of the fighting over in the Pacific.

These miniatures practically finish the range of vehicles that need to be produced for these two armies with the possible exception of a couple of Chevy light trucks and some home made armoured cars for the KNIL, but anyway I’m starting to wax lyrical, so without further ado please let me introduce to you the new additions to the Bayonets & Brushes family:

The Vickers AA is a very useful model as it was exported to many countries as the M1931, Turkey had 48 delivered before WW2 for example. Romania had well over 150 of them.

As far as is known, no AP round was made for this gun by Vickers, but Romania did make one for their licence built M36 guns from mid 1942, with a respectable 8cm/1750m/90* armour penetration, maximum 11cm/300m/90*
