Caliver Books is US based, looking for Eurozone, much to expensive with the extra customs costs!

Er, no. Caliver books is in the UK - Eastwood; 8 miles outside of Nottingham, birthplace of DH Lawrence?
I'm not exactly sure which company you have them confused with but they are most definitely UK based.

True, but does not solve his EU requirements, except Caliver claims to be GPSR compliant.

This is true, although he specifically mentions the cost aspect, which is significantly cheaper when buying from the UK rather than the USA. If he lives in the Eurozone and only wants a book from the Eurozone then I would understand the concern, although he hasn't mentioned this at any point.

I meant Caliver UK based, made typing error. GPSR concerns safety but won’t change the fact that i will have to pay maybe 30-40€ here Belgium, so that would be a expensive book!

Ah yes - that's ok. Look, the reason I didn't exclude the UK is that we're still basically in the Eurozone as regards tariffs and point of origin regulations; from the point of UK/EU customs regulations you need to be addressing these concerns with Caliver - if it's a used book, VAT will be reduced. It's an English language book, published in an English speaking country - the UK is almost certainly your best bet, USA, Canada and Australia are far too expensive with tariffs and whatnot. Email Caliver, raise your concerns and see what they can come up with - it may be that the price is under the customs/VAT threshold for your area.

Good luck with that. When I once asked Caliver why they charged me for using PayPal (which PayPal don’t allow) they cancelled my order without saying anything. When I inquired why and pointed out the situation (incredibly politely, as I wanted the products) they weren’t very professional or even polite. So much so I contacted the original rules creators and became a seller for them in the U.K. for a while, just so I could get a copy at a reasonable price without having to deal with them. I know I’ll now get deluged with people telling how great they are (because they took their money, I suppose) but they made a very distinct impression on me and I try to use my (admittedly small) spending power as wisely as I can.

Well I rarely deal directly with Caliver these days, I used to buy from them at shows and I use their Ebay store from time to time so, what can I say? Your experience has not been my experience.
I still think that Rommel's best chance to get this book is a UK seller (of which I've only found 2, one being Caliver) or a pdf (the 'dodgy' kind which I cannot endorse nor help you with - if you go down that route, you go alone), apart from that I don't think there are any copies in the EU - I have looked.

Any chance of a bit more information with that - which country you were in when you bought it, for example? Bear in mind that Rommel is in Belgium and is concerned about the draconian EU customs.

And if they had given you any problems, you could visit ^__^.

If Rommel has a look at the front page of their site, they say that they can post from Europe (at a price) which I guess bypasses the custom charges at the customer end.

I have only bought from them at shows so have no experience of their mail order process.

Does anyone have a copy to hand and does it have an ISBN? If so, a reputable book seller might be able to get a copy for you.

You could always ask (PM) Mike in Switzerland (who I think is the author) if he has any suggestions.
