Joy of Six in Sheffield is next weekend and we'll be staging a Glorantha game using 6mm models and the Midgard rules.
So we got together yesterday just to run through some of the options using Matt's splendid (and large collection.
They're a mix of Baccus historicals, some of the Rapier range that until last year (when the license was withdrawn) were official Glorantha models along with some of Rapiers historicals and a smattering of Irregular.
The game at JoS will feature the walls of Pavis and a much nicer mat than the one we had available but it was an excuse to get all the soldiers out and have a stand up fight.
The Lunar forces had plenty of spears and pike (and some nast Chaos stuff too)

They also had plenty of cavalry and some dinosaurs - because it's Glorantha

Battle was soon joined

Casualties were high on both sides

Great fun game and the rules worked well for the setting without any need to tweak them (though we may revisit that in future!)
Lots more pics and a few words over on the blog
