Khurasan Miniatures has released Wave 2 of our 15mm Later Carthaginian range:

This is the stuff Carthaginian armies other than Hannibal’s army in Italy (from Cannae on) would likely have — African war elephants, Poeni cavalry and Iberian Caetrati. (Hannibal may have had Caetrati at Cannae, but unlike the Libyan javelinmen and Balearic slingers, they’re not specifically mentioned in Polybios.)

The elephant set comes with Libyan spearmen in the tower, but we’ve also released a booster set of Numidians to put in the tower instead, because there isn’t much firm evidence who crewed the towers. The elephants used by the Romans in Greece would be these same smaller African elephants, with the Numidian booster set.

We have just a few more sets to release for the Second Punic War — Ligurians, Celtiberians and Poeni settler/citizen infantry. They’re being worked on now. Then we will be moving east with the Romans and making the Illyrians.
