I came across this site while doing research for my chinese waterfront, tons of pictures from the 1890s to the 1930s.You have to skim through to find the ones with gaming or modeling interest, Shanghai riots,boxer rebellion ect. but if you're doing a Chinese project you should find something that's worth the time
