Sharp Practice in the Peninsular War - Devon Wargames Group
« on: August 10, 2025, 08:10:02 PM »
With our annual Lardy Day event 'Clotted Lard' close at hand next month, club members are getting their game plans warmed up and one of the games played this month at club included a Sharp Practice action set in the Peninsular War.

Our game produced a tense situation with the game going down to the line and both sides teetering on collapse.

If you would like to know more the just follow the link to the club blog.

A.  That looked like quite the scrum.  Good-looking minsi and terrain, to boot!

B.  I like the manner in which the report was presented.  Nicely told!

Very cool!  :-*

Though I must admit, I like your groups 15mm games much more.

Sharp Practice always delivers a fine game.  Those figs make it even finer.  I like the sabot unit stands.  A good reminder of what i really have to work on…
