CoC Czechoslovakia 1938

One of my little side projects, the border skirmishes and what if of a German invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1938. The Czech army is mostly from the lovely Paul Hicks sculpted range from Bohemia Miniatures, with some converted bits from Eureka, Empress, Warlord, etc, etc.

Scratchbuilt 3,7 cm KPÚV vz. 34 anti-tank gun. Gun courtesy of plastic card, rod and odd spare wheels. Crew, mostly courtesy of the Eureka WW2 Chinese gun crew with head swaps for Eureka's Czech helmeted heads.

The SOS, a prewar border defence organisation drawn from the gendarmerie, Finance Guards, local police and army reservists. Bore the brunt of the actual fighting against the Sudeten Nazi terrorists.

Some transport. Praga RND and a Tatra 72 field car.

There's a period Skoda Superb in my collection as well but where I have put it God only knows.

LT.vz. 35 Light tanks. A considerable overmatch for almost all German armour in 1938.

The little uns.

The incredibly cute Tan?ík vz. 33, a Carden Lloyd type affair. Saw considerable service in independent platoons backing up the SOS fighting the Sudeten Nazis.

Also an OA vz.33 armoured car. Again these saw a bit of service in the border skirmishes.

Part one of the oppostion, the ones that did the actual fighting, well terrorists raids. The Sudetendeutsches Freikorps. A mixture of local ethnic Germans, the odd SA member. To maintain some level of plausible deniability of German involvement (good luck with that!) they were mostly equipped with small arms taken from Austria, Hitler having annexed Austria a feew months earlier.  A mix of Empress Freikorps, Eureka and BTD partisans, Cannon Fodder revolutionaries plus various conversions of WG, etc, etc. There's even a BTD Boer in there.
