28mm Siege of Jadotville game!
« on: September 05, 2025, 02:03:08 PM »
This one came up as one of Jurgen's great finds on the the African Bush Wars Face-ache group.  I thought it deserved some PR and some here might be interested.  Not my work and I've only seen the pictures online but a very nice looking game on an unusual theme.  I don't think it has been posted here before, so Kudos to Patrick et al.

Here's Patrick's blog with an AAR and lots more pictures.

Lovely stuff!

Awesome looking game, and a great bit of history for a scenario. I saw your comment asking about the rules. Let me know if he replies...  ;)

Ah, saw the title and thought I would have to send the link to Patrick...  but wait, that's his game!

He has run this and other scenarios at Huzzah.  I painted the Mk.IV armoured car and some other UN vehicles for him.

Sorry to disappoint Cat.  It is a lovely set up though.  Nice painting on the vehicles too.  I've put a comment on his blog but please pass on my compliments to Patrick.  What rules did you guys use for the game?

Too bad people find it more convenient to use Facebook than post here. So thank you for sharing.

Jadotville was Force on Force.

Thanks.  I thought it might be.  How did you find they worked for such a big game?

It looked like it went well.  I didn't get to play in it, I'm usually busy running games at Huzzah.

Fair enough.  Thanks.  Sadly, Portland is a bit far from Southend for a day trip.  Maybe one day.  :)
