ACW Petersburg Campaign via Bloody Big Nattles
« on: 15 September 2025, 06:48:20 PM »
Ran a test game of Chris Pringle's draft Petersburg Campaign - 8 months of warfare in under 3 hours https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/2025/09/petersburg-campaign-via-bloody-big.html

And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

It strikes me that this scenario gives the CSA a home court advantage, something you don't often see in games. Each Union corps leaves troops behind guarding their camps and stores, only able to strike with somewhat more force than the opposing Confederate divisions.
