Epic Warpath first pass

My pledge for Epic Warpath arrived this afternoon from Mantic, having been held up from Marauder sprue delays, but I have been printing out stls from the campaign virtual rewards off and on through the past month.  I had not printed many of the models as I was concerned that the scaling may be off between the stls and the physical core models but that was unfounded as everything has lined up so far between the first two armies I backed…



All of the GCPS Humans are 12mm tall, and very well detailed, and the Marauder Orcs are appropriately bulky and an imposing 17 – 18mm tall (16mm dice for scale).  The core armies are made of very dense plastic, and the only real difference I have seen between the physical models and the resin printables, is that the plastic infantry legs are thinner, but not enough to make a difference when viewed at arm’s length.



There are also several options of walkers, with the GCPS Striders coming in at 25mm tall.  One of the reasons I backed the all in stl pledge was to alternate poses, and the walkers I have printed so far have all allowed x-axis mirroring in the slicer to easily change up their leg stances.  I have not run any of the larger vehicles off yet, but everything looks great so far… I would highly recommend these models to anyone else when they are fully released.  In fact I will be buying more of the Marauder models if when I ever get these boxes finished as they are a great value.

Looks great! I’m working my way through the Nameless right now. GCPS next - hopefully they come out as good as yours. I agree the miniatures are really nice for the most part. I have a few things that I don’t like about some of them - but all in all cool kits.

good work.  Nice blue on the Walkers.  The infantry to look like nice detail.
