handful of heroes repaints for supersystem

I picked up a few 'handful of heroes' minis from eBay to try out for size in supersystem.

original iron man, ironclad, Collossus and Dr. Doom are all repaints of handful of heroes. The final figure, absorbing man, is a heroclix figure to show size.



I think they match pretty well, although the details on some areas aren't as sharp as they could be.  They'll be gracing a table top in supersystem shortly

Ive been checking up on these, and they appear to be a US only thing at the moment, anyone want to send some to the UK? Marvel fan's need thier mini's!

yup, mighty flip is correct, i've only seen them in the US so far, no one in the UK has them, i've got mine from american sellers on Evilbay,

Picked up a pack myself. The scale is kind of all over the map, but they're generally larger than the average Heroclix (which also had its own scale issues, heh.) The Handful figs tend to represent the heavy hitters though, so it works out OK. As long as you want Hawkeye and Nick Fury to be as tall as the Abomination and the Hulk.

The wife put some of these in my stocking for Christmas.  I was thinking to get some more for just this purpose.  Although the scale is a crapshoot with each, they are dirt cheap and you're sure to get 3 or 4 with promise in each pack.  They also have fantastic sculpted detail.

what scale are these anyway? not 28mm surely?

hi majorsmith,

scale is variable with these, they are mostly at the top end of 28mm. Most of the characters who would be larger, like hulk, iron man etc are around that mark.

some of the characters who should be a little smaller, e.g. hawkeye, black panther and nick fury are the same size as hulk, so nearer a heroic 30mm scale.  Although i feel quite happy using any of them in tabletop supers games with superfigs and repainted heroclix (who's scale issues are a whole other thread, probably )
