Troglodytes
« on: January 01, 2010, 07:11:43 PM »
Thinking of ordering a large number of Dragonblood Sunless Kingdom Troglodytes for my degenerated Venusian Native forces. So am wondering if anyone has done buisness with them and have comments?

I'm gluing the arms on now. Decently run business. There is a lot of easily removed flash, no cast lines. Excellent castings. BUT those seperate arms are a real pain and I imagine these will be very difficult to store due to the fragile arm to body joins.

Dragonblood are great to deal with, very fast shipping.

Their trogs are absolutelt gorgeous minis. Didn't have a problem with the arm joints myself - glued in place THEN drilled and pinned through, filler over the holes to seal everything up tight.

I have some and got good service from Dragonblood.

I agree with Geronimo that pinning the Trogs arms is definately the best way to go.  They are very fiddly but the model itself is very kewl and worth getting.

Their terror bird is quite nice as well.

Beautiful models! They are not cheap, but their Draconid Lizardmen for example are far better than the GW versions. I have a bucketful of cheap "obsolete" Warhammer lizardmen, but I'd rather have some of those. The Trogs are wonderful too and would be a nice alternative to Kroot "Parrotmen".

The Terror bird is stunning and I'd definitely consider one or two for my games. I also love the Larva Lizard, which would be a great deal of fun to paint.

A new company to me, but terrific quality  8)
