As Agis pointed out Incursion is a board based game whereas SOTR is a full tabletop.



Good system with loads of support and great spread of offical miniatures, add to that the ability to use any wwII minis and vehicles you have as well and you can't lose:

Hey Axe ,
Long time no talkie.I just started getting into weird war.The guys at our club have been playing using The Great War rules modified for WW2 then again for WWW2.I have the SOTR rulebook ordered from Maelstrom but have been waiting for a while for it.
Have a look at the SOTR forum linked above.The people are really friendly and helpful.They say the background in the rulebook is not quite complete as they have left a lot of the minor countries story lines open and the rule authors say(get this) they did it on purpose to encourage fan based list.The plan is(if I get it right) to sanction the list and make them into PDFs on the forum.Wish another game system we both love took that approach huh?

I get your point and yes that would be nice.My attitude on that now is simply to shrug my shoulders and continue playing as normal as it's beyond thinking about much anymore.
