Renegade WWI Late War British

Renegade WWI Late War British Models.  Some of you may notice that the uniform and such isn't entirely correct for Late War British, I was instructed by my client to paint them is a manner similiar to the Early War figures I had already completed for him.

I think your client made a good choice to go this route. I prefer the colour balance and no doubt they will slip into use alongside the others too.

When a client ask for absurd things (like a Panther for DAK) I usually remind that it is impossible, the paint based on my own research... if he complains I always say: you could have painted it by yourself... (like when a friend give me an initial production batch panther and asked for a  1945 camo...)

ehy when I was in high school once I replied to a teacher who had completely weird idea about the normandy landings (placing them in a completely wrong place):

I am right and you are wrong, no point to go forward with discussion...

The customers have to be put in the right track!

Pardon me for being dense, but I can't for the life of me see what is wrong with them as late war troops. Could someone put me out of my misery and point it out, please?  :)

Oops, I meant to say that they are painted as Early War Troops, using Late War models.  It's mainly the helmets and gas masks (in the haversack slung around the neck) weren't introduced until mid-war.

Oh, I get you. I thought you meant they were wrong for late war troops. So actually you have painted them perfectly fine for what the figures are. It's what the client is going to use them as that isn't quite right.
