Very very nice indeed. I have the guy lying down with the... funky machine gun (I have no idea what type it is, sorry those who regard these things as important). I'm going to paint him up as a VBCW partisan too, for my prospective Durham Miners' Militia. Very inspiring to see such a nicely rendered group!

eheh lots of soviet weapons in the British territory! are they from a particular red faction?

the painting is just brilliant!  :-* loved the the way you have painted the guns! care to share the secret? :)

They are WWII French Partisan figures, as far as I know they will simply be English militia (they are commissions).

The weapons are done with vallejo model colors black grey, dark grey, and a dark grey/london grey mix for the highlights, followed by a light wash of black.

Sam, you know how much I love your work, and I never tire of seeing figures, so beautifully painted by yourself.  Yet again some great figures who will proudly grace a battlefield.

Thanks so much, I think I'll try this aproach for painting machine guns! the results are fantastic :)
