Post Modern Scooby Doo Idea
« on: 15 January 2010, 10:25:48 AM »

I was just looking at a new t-shirt from the Threadless site and it gave me an idea.  With the Scooby gang to the forefront of my mind after seeing two incarnations of them on this great Matakishi thread I can see myself getting behind a post-apoc/zompocalyptic Scooby Doo project all too easily...

"Zoinks!" indeed.

Likewise, very cool idea. Would love to see these done.

I was thinking a goth/vampire-hunter take on them, but couldn't quite work out how to do it... I think I know now!

i remember this being suggested on the FOD a while back to hasslefrees Mr White... i think ...... can't remember what he said... i'll take a look and be back  ;)

edit: back... this is what was said there

I saw this design submission over for a horror competition at Threadless (a popularity-driven t-shirt company, for those unfamiliar with it) and was thoroughly disappointed that it didn't win.  Maybe the artist would be willing to let the characters live on in a more three-dimensional format?

That's a great idea :D

Shame about Daphne, Fred and Shaggy though.

i like the idea and would buy them  :)

Always knew Velma was the smart survivor type. And Scooby too. Nice to see that I was right.

I'd buy them too!!!

Sadly she won't be alive much longer, notice the blood pattern on the left arm bandage, she was bit and a bit survivor becomes a zombie.

Maybe it was an unturned lunatic that had gone loopy and thought he was a zombie, or figured he could survive longer if he pretended he was a zombie. I wouldn't be surprised if that was his arm that scoobie was holding though.
