I know what you mean about the eyes. I debated a while on how to paint them. The minis are not sculpted with eyes. Just eye holes in the hoods. And they are too far apart for actual eyes. I thought about just doing shadowed holes, but I actually like the way they turned out. They don't look so bad not blown up 10 times actual size. :
