thanks my friend,

But the material use is very simple to use.
As i don't like the green to sculpt....(too long and boring for me), i have to find something more easy to use for me...

These are brilliant conversions.  I look at an ancients figure and only see it as an ancient figure.  I need to use my imagination!

I love your conversions, nervisfr.
So elegantly simple, I kick myself for not thinking of them myself.
Wonderfully imaginative.

thanks guys.

If you are interested, follow my blog for finding lots of ideas like that.

You need to develop your imagination just in seeing a figurine and think what you can do with it. By now, i can't do otherwise if i look a figurine, i can see very fastly how to give it a new life into conversion.

For example, in 15mm many years ago, i have used Dervish Ansar with turban from Colonial ESSEX range for converting them into Chinese Boxers. Just by painting !

and here for a friend who asked me to do something with 2 Foundry Saxons :

now they are Mountainmen

Imagination his your best friend.

Cheers
Eric

From a flower and decoration store.

it's very soft and can be bend or press until it disappear on the figurine.

I made cloak, hat and armour pieces , like on this big troll :

Nice work!
 8) 8)

I guess we are fairly similar in outlook as I always look at a figure and think 'How can I alter that...?'

Always tinkering, I am afraid.... ;)

thanks Mason,
it's a kind of X ray view !
You scan the figurine and you get the solution to give it a new life !     :o
