New Hobby Products / Metal Magic Forum
« on: 19 January 2010, 10:29:46 AM »
For all those interested in the old Metal Magic miniatures range from Hobby Products, there is a new forum at

http://www.metalmagic.de

This forum was opened by one the most active collectors of all things Hobby Products, so you will find all the other ranges as well: Asterix, Dunwich Detectives, Spacelords, Traveller etc. Despite being a german language forum, this site will hopefully become THE websource for Hobby Products miniatures, and posts in english shouldn't be a problem.

I have no German.  Do you think English-only writers would be welcome?

(I have painted some DW stuff - and am tempted to buy some Dunwhich Detectives from EM.)

I think I´ll register as well, although my contact with Metal Magic is mainly restricted to nostalgic appreciation of the Spacelords figure line. So if need be, I'll be happy to help out. :)

That said, the forum owner knows enough english to make himself understood, I'd guess. ;)

I'd never seen the Perry Rhodan stuff before - very nice indeed. Shame it's all OOP. And I saw a giant Phagon beastie I'd never seen before that was very nice too.

I was a skint teen when these were all available. Bit gutted. :'(

Doug at EM4 should find this resource useful (once the Spacelords pics are up) as he has most of the molds, doesn't he?

I'd love EM4 to be able to carry the full Spacelords back-catalogue…

I would buy BUCKET LOADS! Are ya listening Doug? Are ya?  ;D
