Another great model with a good looking effective paint job.

Having put magnets on so many of the joints part of you must be at least just a little tempted to see just how much articulation you can get out of one?
 :)

28mm is the scale I'm used to, I've never played or really done much modeling on anything else, but these walkers are wonderful. The change of scale is an issue but it's becoming harder to fight off picking up a couple if only just to paint.

I've begun having a wander of your blog and dropshop horizon as you recomended, so no doubt they will drag me even farther down this new route.

Those are some smashing walkers!

When it comes to 15mm sci fi, nowadays, there is just an amazing amount of really good product out there to choose from.

I think I've gone as far as I can with the walkers in term of using the magnets :)  It would be nice to think you could fully articulate them, but it isn't practical to go any further I think :)

I saw a good quote on the TMP about scales:

28mm is all about the infantry, 6mm is all abou the tanks, 15mm is the perfect blend of both... :)

Enjoy your wander through my blog, there's all sorts of stuff in it !   :D ;D lol

Regards

The Walker is made by a company called Critical Mass Games

http://www.criticalmassgames.com/

I use two rule sets, Fast And Dirty  (FAD) and Beamstrike.  Both are good sets, with FAD being slightly easier to get into IMHO.

Great work! Will this be participating in a new stop-motion of yours?

Indeed, that's the plan....   :)

All I need is time......   Something in short supply when you have family  :)

Incidentaly my heart sinks at the thought of using Windows Movie maker, which is a great piece of software in terms of ease of use, but terribly buggy and prone to crashing with anything remotely complicated   :o  :(  >:(  :-[

I've heard much the same about many of the latest windows applications, I know a few people who do live streams of video games unhappy with windows 7 as it tries to do everything for you but woe betide anyone who tries to do something semi-complicated without its help.
 :?

The perfect mix of infantry and tanks you say...well as someone who's got a 40k tank battalion gathering dust somewhere (god I dread to think how much that cost me over the years) that makes me rather happy.
 :)

A couple questions if I may, are the 3 chin mounted gun options the single gatling, twin gatling and the sorta laser cannon/rocket type thing, and is there any chance you could put up a picture of the walkers next to a 28mm model?
I can sorta work out the size from the crewman but it would be easier for me.

Very nice - 15mm SF is one of the places I got started as a gamer, 10 years ago when we weren't spoilt like we are now, and it's still a favourite scale/genre/whatever!

So much neat new 15mm SF stuff out there right now, pity my local gaming group is in "off-again" mode - we've done a lot of SG2 and some homebrew rules over the years!

Another great paint job on a great model.  Thanks for sharing!

15mm is a really nice scale, but as I have god knows how much stuff in both 28mm and 6mm (plus some unpainted 10mm Warmaster stuff) I cant see myself adding another scale at this stage.

So I had better stop looking at your lovely stuff then ;)

I really wanted to get into 15mm but 28mm is so much easier to get hold of.
Good stuff anyway

Does that walker have to have an ammo walker with it to carry all of the ammo those gatling use?

Ready to fire...FIRE! BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAPPPPP CLick click click. (3 seconds later) Ok, bring up the ammo walker(s) and reload.
Jane! Stop this crazy thing!

Steve

There are a bunch of manufacturers, most of whom are in the UK, but not exclusively.  Even if abroad, GZG in the UK can get stuff to people with 7 days or so.

You know you want some :)   lol
