No Mark converted the Sea Devil from the early Citadel range.

You can still get them from here. They are true 25mm though:

They don't play too badly with the BTD Sea Devils though:

I'd say they were an acceptable mix. I'm not too fussy about different sized figures (except for semi-artificial beings like Cyberman and Daleks etc).

Love the sea devil in the sea, very well done. I had no idea that you could still buy those old citadel sea devils :o I wouldn't of started converting GW Saurus warriors. (I know BTD have their figures but I didn't fancy the lottery of 'will I won't I get them')
The Tardis is a beaut, I will have to bite the bullet and buy a Fenris one

don't get excited, I've just cut off the swords and given them greenstuff heat disc things! I found 3 monsters to use for Myrkas in my VSF box, not sure where they came from, Parroom I think, but they do have 4 legs and 2 little arms

Like the sound of these Sea Devil conversions - are some of those wierd Martian beasties still available from Parroom - can see why you chose them for stand in Myrkas!

Is the surf part of the cast on the Sea Devil?

Any tips on modelling the surf would be nice also.

Close your eyes...

picture this in green...

add in a couple of fins, crests and scales

and forget the travesty of 80s special effects that was the Myrka in Warriors of the Deep!

Bad video quality to go with the acting!

Close your eyes...

I have no problem seeing that... it was Steder's line of little arms that was confusing me...

No its not that one, Longneck. Its a lot bulkier, I'll take a photo tonight with the saurus warriors.

Edit: Its the PSM-CTR-003 Grosk
I've got 2 more monsters, neither of which are shown there, a 4 legged dog thing and bi-ped with tentacles for arms. I picked up about 10 creatures cheap from one of the shows from the crowd that used to stock Parroom. I thought they could be used for allsorts of things.
I did consider using the Parroom plasm hybrids (2 armed ones) as silurians, in the end I took the plunge and ordered some from BTD

The biggest Travesty was how the hell could they make Ingridd Pitt look so unattractive?!

Yeah but she pulls off some right moves in that little dance she has with the Myrka!

Looks nice and bulky - would you move the head further up the shoulders to get it more Myrka-like or keep as is and bill it as a different genetic experiment by the Silurians - Myrka MKII?
