New buildings for North Africa / Near East 20 – 28mm
« on: February 01, 2010, 09:12:45 AM »
There is a new manufacture (small – one man show) of some nice buildings for North Africa and the Near East. Originally they are made for 20mm scale but you can also use them along with 28mm miniatures. The buildings will be available in a couple of weeks. Here are some pictures of some of the upcoming things:

Sweet. I salute the man for knowing how to present his goods to the market. The set up and photography is very appetizing.

These look very nice indeed. I'm guessing they are handmade from board, like the Colonial Steamboat company's, and various others who make and sell this kind of stuff? As opposed to resin casts? (They're clearly not solid resin like Grand Manner). Or they could be resin kits like the recent TSS buildings?

They are indeed very nice. Some simple touches on those really lift them to the next level.

Laser-cut cardboard pieces, to be assembled. I had seen the 6mm Cold War things he mastered over the last few weeks, but those look even better - I should get a bunch for my East Africa stuff.

Dang!  Now I need to go back to my Sudan stuff and spice up a couple dooraways and windows!

Just when I had finished the buildings and was moving on to terrain boards, they pull me back in!

(I am yelling, overacting and gesticulating with my hands,   Al Pacino style as I say that)  (That is kinda fun.  "I know it was you, Fredo!"   Now I'm laughing )
 :)

Really nice stuff.  Thanks!   ;)

A lesson that we should all slow down a bit and do other posters the courtesy of taking the time to read their posts fully (not that I always do that, by any means). The original poster clearly stated that these are previews and the models will be available in a couple of weeks. That would be why you can't find them on the site.  :)

I thought the pics would be up.  (they have a "gallery" section and all, and I also looked for coming soon.  )

I was just dissapointed that I couldn't find more pics.

So these are for sale unpainted in 28mm, or are you just showing off your master terrain building skills?  ;)
