Just finished some Westwind Russians for my SOTR Soviet Army. Not too sure about my choice of colours ( although as they're for Weird War I don't suppose it's a massive issue).

I'll post some more as I go.

The jackets are fine. The trousers look too light to me, but probably not outside the range of variation in the actual Soviet army. Just say they faded in the sun

I think they look great.

The trousers go with the jackets nicely.

lovely- Those snow bases are great. I tried snow bases and they looked rather flat

What's the secret?

Who's minis are they? They're very nice too.

I like the colours you have used. I know nothing of millitary uniforms, I usually go with what looks nice.

Great painting and the bases are amazing too.I have my son's to do and these are great inspiration.Bought the rule books at the weekend and am thinking about which force I want to collect.

Just been placing orders for the Soviets.Should have enough for a good starter force.

Some tips on snow bases would be great if you have the time.
