Cool idea to park the beastmen in a pseudo-Greek theme.  As has been said the patine on your bronzes are great.  Awesome work.
This is my boomstick!

Those are great overall, but the shields - especially the bodyguard's - are outstanding!

Thank you all for your comments! :)
Here's the latest addition to my growing herd: a very old Citadel model which I spontaneously baptised "Brephos". :D

In fact, this giant baby is only as tall as an ordinary Gor. However, he still could function as a mascot for Gortyr's herd.
I'll write up some more background info on my Beastmen any time soon, possibly in form of a battle report. If you're interested, I'd share it here, too; just drop a comment. :)

No more yackety-yak, just the pics for you:

Sorry terrible play on words - but I thought this chap was a very well painted yakety-yak!

I'll get my coat...

Really like the idea of using these in a Greek setting - bronze armour is fab!

Hi chaps,

Here are the latest additions to my (very!) slowly growing army of Old School Beastmen. Their respective role in there is given in brackets.
They also featured recently in a supplementary scenario for our Argonauts game (first staged at the Tactica 2011 show).

Centaur (Centigor) - Otherworld

Cyclops (Giant) - Ral Partha

I'm glad you added some LOVELY pieces to your collection &, subsequently, the thread otherwise I would have missed them. All your pieces are WONDERFULLY WELL DONE...the shields are EXCEPTIONAL.

Please do post your battle reports as time permits.

First time I've seen this, very impressive! Would be interested to see your background to these in the form of red-and-black ware vases.
