Don't like the Front Rank figs too much, but the more I can appreciate what you've achieved here. Very nice stuff!
Everyone should paint more civilians. :)

[...]Of course, in reality the faces should be scarred and/or pockmarked - but I don't paint reality.

Great painting - I like all the Front Rank Civilians.

I did the "Lords and Ladies" some years ago.

No.  Boyish good looks

I think it was the feminine features, eyeliner and lipstick that threw me off.   :D

Really nice painting.

I am tempted to buy these figures now. However I am not sure if Front Rank is in the same scale as Black Scorpion. Are they 28 to the top of the head or 28 to eye level? Any chance for a pic comparison maybe?

Really nice painting.

Thanks.  Glad you like them.   :)

Black Scorpion figures are bigger - 32mm - and a different sculpting "style."  These Front Rank are shorter and quite a lot chunkier.  I like both.  No comparision shots - sorry.

Those are really quite nice Orctrader.  And I think your miniature photography skill matches and
compliments your skill with the brush! :D
