Asian Tower Model
« on: February 15, 2010, 01:30:08 AM »
Found this at Michael's for $8:

I didn't buy it, but thought others might appreciate seeing it's available.  A 28mm mini would occupy about 3/4s of that doorway, so looks a good scale.

Why do we not have Michaels over here? That would most definately make a decent base to build onto, especially at that price.

What he said. They seem to have useful stuff all the time. That would make a great excuse to start yet another project... mmm....more projects...

Whenever my other half has night stops in the US she makes a trip to Michaels, she reckons its much better than Hobbycraft. I'll get her to pick up some of these on her next trip.

Maybe I'll buy one after all and make it my very first terrain project.  Just to make the Europeans feel even worse, with Michael's usual 40%-off coupon, it's almost too good to resist.   :D

That's one I missed on my last run through Michael's. I did see their dragons, ships and other buildings ( like the tower bridge) and tanks. I'll have to go back and have another look-see. Those are in the cheap-stuff aisle - right?

Can we get this stuff on Micheal’s web site? If so, do anyone have a direct link?
