Ok, so I'm a bit undecided about what to do about the flags.

1. Do I go with big ones or small pennants?

2. All different designs or all the same?

same design... which lets face it, with Empire will be quartered and have four designs on it anyway... 

long thin pennants would look ok I reckon...

It's getting harder and harder to tell this thing was a cheap plastic toy! Great paint job. Can't wait to see how it all pans out.

Just stumbled upon the thing myself in a market for Interieur and Furniture in Hamburg. Was reduced from 20€ to 12€ because one of the bags of soldiers was missing. Could care less.

I saw them on an Aldi flyer that came though my door a couple of years ago. I was put off by the back of the walls, clearly that was a mistake. Might be worth keeping an eye out in case they get them again?

3. None at all, just holes to mount a detatchable set of flags that you can have in a half-dozen different styles so that you can use the castle for different forces, dependent on scenario.

Sorry to resurrect this (even though any LAFer worth their salt would enjoy looking at this thread again I reckon) but I would love to see how the castle looked when finished, particularly in a game context.

Did it get finished and played with?  Damn shame if it didnt.

I found two of these castle kits in my attic recently, so I have an interest in seeing their potential.
