Blimey! the words 'band' and 'wagon' spring to mind with this marketing attempt.

Obviously trying to pry back some business from those techy devils at letraset and Copic.

Now, put the words 'pencil' and 'some kind of aid to drawing contraption' 'with steam and cogs' and you could have a winner.

Manga. Lol.
According to the an animation lecturer at uni, that style originates from Japan's attempt to create cartoons similar to Snow White, just because of how amazing the animation is!
Looks like they still haven't mastered it, lazy buggers!  ;D
