Sometimes it is a little bit frustrating! Everyone is going to the shopping convention "Salute", but to visit Hamburg it is to long and expensive?

Three of us came from England this year and it's not that expensive. We paid £50 each for Easyjet flights from Luton and my hotel room in the Sankt Pauli district was 104 Euros a night. For sure, you could cut your hotel bill by staying elsewhere or by sharing a room with a buddy.

Unusual for a Brit was that all the games were participation ones. They were also all fantastically high quality. Without a doubt the best overall level that I have seen at any show anywhere.

In Hamburg, we were very well looked after by Grimm's buddy, Oliver (Welf VIII. on Frothers who was one of the Dungeon Crawl game organisers). Hats off to him and to all involved in organising this great show.

I can understand your frustration that this wonderful looking show doesn't attract more visitors from the UK in particular.
I'd love to come.
On a purely economic basis however, it costs me 20 GBP to travel to Salute and get in. To come to Hamburg for the weekend, flights, hotels, meals etc, would cost me at least 200 GBP - so it's not that small a decision (especially as I already have a trip to Kiel in May!)

Plus I don't need to get permission from my wife to go to Salute.
To disappear to Germany for the weekend is somewhat more difficult - as I am finding out

I am very sorry and full of shame that I diden´t find the time to talk and drink with you guys !! realy I was to busy to run the show and my gaming table .
I hope to do it better next time or maby Welf and me going to a show in GB with you .

Thanks for all the nice words about the show it was stressful to run the show but after all it was a blast for me .

About the visitors I think it was rond about 600 but I will know it in the next days .
