Yes they are! I saw them at our annual wargames convention and just had to have 'em...

Really great mini's and lovely to paint, get some, you'll love them!

The skin tone on the undead did it for me.   :-*

Gorgeous color on the skin, I agree! Let us know how you pulled that off.

I don't posess the technical expertise to choose between great paint jobs like these (or any submissions).

I will just say "awesome, both are beautiful"  and leave it at that.

Weird, because I am hyper competitive in all other regards.

As the captain is undead and having several other undead pirates I decided to paint the ladies as undead too.

Started with a black undercoat that was drybrushed with GW Shadow grey. (kind of a blue-ish tone)
Then another drybrush of Codex grey, topped with drybrushed Space Wolves grey
Finally I highlighted some parts with pure Space Wolves grey...

I think I can easily be done with similar shades, as long as you have 3-4 colours from dark to light.
It took me a couple of runs to see what was best.

Thanks for the pointers, Northstar. I can certainly use all the help I can get. lol
I did enjoy the victorian zombie fighters as well. I voted for them the last round.
