Looking for a figure
« on: March 10, 2010, 05:06:35 PM »
I'm looking for two figures actually, (and they need to be available in the US without ruinous shipping.
If conversion is necessary, that's not a problem.

The first is a late-period (1890) medium-high-society English woman with a rapier.  I've seen Ramshackle's Mina Harker, but the shipping on that was painful.

The second is a sketch a friend did for me:

Anyone have any ideas?

No, sorry Froggy, but give her a bowler instead of flying helmet, and a long rifle instead of a suitcase, and she's the 'Whimsy' mini I've been looking for for my 'Rivets and Whimsy' project explained here, where we discuss possible candidates (I think you even joined in a question of scale) and this discussion about getting one made.

If I find anything on my travels I'll let you know; if on the other hand you do, please pas it on, I'd be very grateful.

I´d have a look at Freebooter and DarkSword. Both have many ladies in fancy dresses, but none with leather caps. These should be easy to convert...

For the first, would the "Miss Delina the Duelist" on the Laughing Monk section of Shadowforge do you? I believe that, if you're America's side of the pond, that the Warstore carries them, and shipping should be reasonable.

I was going to suggest Ironclad's Mina Harker but I can't think of a Ramshackle one so suspect the Ironclad one is what you meant?
So many projects..... so little time.......
