TLWR Tiger Cannon
« on: 11 March 2010, 12:47:52 AM »
Through the generosity of a fellow Aussie on TMP, I finally tracked down a Tiger Cannon from the now defunct London War Room.

There is a slightly closer pic on my blog http://adventuresinlead.blogspot.com/2010/03/london-war-room-tiger-cannon.html

Yup I have one of them. It is all painted up & part of my imperial Chinese forces for my Taipai to Boxer Rebellion armies. I goes right along side my dog gun & dragon gun.

Sorry to tease Svennn, but I've been looking everywhere for one of these babies and now I'm bloody happy about it!  :D

Any chance of a pic HerbyF?

The word on the skreets is that The Virtual Armchair General is picking up some old London War Room lines, (can't remember wich, but it may include Chinese,  that was the last I heard)

Maybe if there is big demand, let him know?

Nice find, fsultana!  My usual lament is applicable:  "I wish they made that in 15mm"   ;)

That was quick. Nice choice of colour too.

I think it may look too much if they were black/dark but are the markings along the barrel to represent the tigers stripes??

Yeah - NOT like me at all, but I couldn't resist.

They are indeed tiger stripes, and I did toy with the idea of coloring them - but opted for a simpler look.

As well, color wise, it fits in with my other "Indian" cannon.

I sure hope so! Be a real shame to see the fighting men of India disappear forever.

It is an Assault Group Ottoman cannon. I took a gamble but think it fits the bill.

AFAIK only the Houston's Guns range.

Pontoonier was to be picking up the India range. I think these were part of that range.
