A gamer in need

Hello everyone. 

I've been lurking around here for a bit now.  Started by following a few links over, then skimming through old posts.  I really enjoyed the things I saw and read, but hadn't really found a reason to register.  Until now.

Whenever I join a new forum, it's always for the same reason.  I need something.  Once I've registered though, I try to offer information and suggestions whenever I can.

I mostly play in a setting inspired by Romero's Land of the Dead, Mad Max II, and Necromunda.  Something awful has happened to the world, maybe multiple somethings.  Most of the world is used up, beat up, and broken down.  Some smaller cities have been fortified and restored to what we'd consider modern society.  There are some advanced technologies that would classify as sci-fi.

Settlements in the untamed areas have vastly different styles.  This is basically an excuse for me to use any miniature I like with any other.  Moderns, sci-fi, old west, fantasy, WWII, pulp, just about anything.

Work, family, and health all conspire to limit what I actually produce and what I do produce isn't great, but it meets my needs.

So, that's me, I'd like to say thank you to those in charge for providing this forum.  I've already gotten some great ideas from here and hope to get alot more.
