I just bought some packs of these and I am looking for some inspiration in the form of finished examples, literature, and game reports.

Can anyone point me in interesting directions?

Not really, sorry, it was years ago. But i think Buff Leather from Foundry would come close.

Those are __awesome__ figures and are precisely the reason that I went out and bought mine!

Can you point me toward any useful research materials? Especially the shoulder boards and the emblem on the helmets.

It's quite a privilege to be in contact with the guy who painted these figures in the first place. Cool!
