The Cult Spreads across Canada...
« on: 16 March 2010, 06:00:46 PM »
After much harsh weather through the mountains, several near-death experiences, the worst motel in the world (SE-RI-OUS-LY!) and various obstacles the Uncle Mike's Worldwide team reached the Trumpeter salute in Burnaby. Many willing suplicants place there very souls in danger to play demos with the youthful (yet eldritch...) Cousin Cam and myself...almost all fell sway to the mind-warping, nauseating power of the Strange Aeons Experience. Ia! Ia!
Imperial Hobbies has also joined the cult, stocking the foul tome and assorted effegies! Normal citizens flee in terror!!! Mothers keep your childern away from this game at all costs!!! You have been warned!!!

Thanx to everyone and we will see you all next year!  :D

We will be at Calcon this weekend. Anyone stuck in Calgary and needing a good eldritch fix please stop by our booth. We will be running demo games and selling stuff and generally bringing the sanity of this convention down. Hope to see you...

Ia! Ia! Kiddies! Another great con. Thanx to all involved with the mind-smashing success of the evil Strange Aeons experience.  >:D
Had a lot of good games with a bunch of nice folks...and actually managed to win a few!  :o

Lots of work to get ready for the coming Comic Con...many evil plans within plans (within a still larger, master plan...) ;)

Hey Mike,

It was cool meeting you and trying out the game--I just picked up a bunch of the stuff that you sold my shop. And at the very least, it looks like three of us in the store will be playing the game...and probably another one or two will join in.

Cult spreading across the land, indeed!

Calcon would have been a complete wash is it weren't for the chance to check out the goods.

Am glad to hear it - I haven't played the game, yet, although I bought it almost immediately after it vam eout - but I have had a break from the hobby of almost a year, and am now slowly crawling back in. Strange Aeons is high on my list of games to be played soon, as I have minis painted that will fit it (and I like the C'thulhu-esque setting). Either next weekend or the next one again, a friend and I shall be playing a Z scenario with the Fear and Faith rules, but then I can see SE over the horizon  :)
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!
