Help needed
« on: 27 March 2010, 02:23:01 PM »
I'm not familiar with who makes CoC style figures, so can you guys help me with finding a figure. I'm looking for a Cthulhu-style figure - bloated body, tentacled head, etc. Must be bigger than 28mm figures, but not too large - lets say arround 60mm at maximum.

The old Grenadier one from Mirliton?

http://www.mirliton.it/product_info.php?pName=hell-beast&cName=nightmares-28mm

You can get this one in the UK from Miniature Heroes.

There is also a Horrorclix Ryleh guardian, but I'd go for the ex-Grenadier one or that Reaper model - not come across that one before, lovely stuff!

I just happened to be rebasing some of my minis - including this one - so I stood a RAFM professor (25mm) next to it and took some shots of it. Unfortunately, after I took the pic with my camera I discovered that my USB cable has gone MIA - I was forced to fall back to my Crackberry's camera. [Edit: Found the cable - here's the better pic.] I hope this helps:

If it was just the tentacle head, there's also the D&D "mind flayer" style figures.

The Reaper one is a favorite of mine.  Works well at the 28mm scale, but is positively terrifying at the 20mm scale.

Give him a chance mate, this is world wide remember and time zones, temporal disturbances and jams all affect people's ability to post.

You've probably frightened him away now with a frotheresque scathing!

That's hardly Frotheresque, and he did wait 24 hours before posting his jab. There's as much chance of the OP seeing the info and not saying thanks as there is of them not having seen the post at all.
