if this isn't excellent then I don't know what
some technicalities that might interest others too:
how did You "fix" the exchangeables? magnets or not at all?
and I couldn't see where and how the.... things that hold the lifeboats are fixed.
Rusting all with pastel powder?
and what is next?  :) :D

The separate parts have a brass pin glued underneath to put them into pre-drilled holes on the decks - simple but effective.

The lifeboat davids have the boats glued on and stand on small bases.

Weathering and rusting has been done with pastels indeed.

And "next" is probably the next ship ...  8)

Great work AB. Hopefully the new owner will display his new piece on the gaming table.

Helen

Thanks much, Helen and all the others here, and I'm pretty sure the new owner WILL indeed show the ship in action this summer ...

How many ships have you now made Admiral?  I'm just wondering how much work it takes to reach this level of skill.
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Your model is just Goreous, Benbow.

It rivals Richard Houston's best work, and that is a massive compliment.

Whatever the price you asked, it was a bargain.

A real top job, Admiral!

Any chance it'll show up at Crisis 10?

Hi Rudi, as I built the ship for a customer, I doubt it will make it's way to the show. I should really build another one for my own, maybe ...

That's really a wonderful creation.
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo
