The Caldari advanced research outpost has always been in a dangerous sector of space. This is the place where Tyranid specimens are analyzed and studied to find their weaknesses and has to be near the front to ensure short transportation routes.
Now the hive mind has come to know about the importance of this station, and has launched an assault directed at the core of the facility.
The garrison of the station prepared for the assault and readied their lasguns. Two terminator squads, dispatched by the corvette “Impetuous” which was patrolling nearby, are scheduled to arrive momentarily.
The commander of the station has already sent a priority one distress call to get additional support, but it will take some time before the cruiser “Malleus” arrives and sends the much needed terminator troops…
