Any suggestions for a quick shop-bought flying stand?

It's holding a lightweight plastic Italeri helo, but ideally needs a small table-foot print and a 12" clearance from the table.

The GW Valkyrie ones looks OK if a bit of a big base.

I'm not sure if it would fit your criteria exactly, but I've used plastic champaign glasses avaliable from party stores here in the US.  They only cost a buck or two and  the base can be popped off.

I use these for 1/48 WWI planes. Very steady. You get magnets that match the weight of the aircraft.
