The UK company supplying these in metal will be Ursa Major Miniatures, but the website isn't ready yet.

First releases will apparently be the moderns then dwarfs...but they are hoping to get everything transferred to metal, so even when the website is up, we'll still have to wait a while for the steampunk stuff we all want, but they are nice, so it'll give me time to save my pennies. :)

Still, a chap ought to look smart in front of the men, don't you think?

This is a mistake, if you ask me! Their steampunk stuff sets them apart- it is of a much higher quality than the other stuff, and in much greater demand- they should be rushing these ranges to get them out their ASAP- these will be bank rolling any future plans they have for years to come.

as to the cost- I usually limit myself to 3-4 GBP per mini, but for these I would push the boat out, as long as they don't take the pee.
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/
And for Ultra-modern Wargaming check out Hotel Zugando at http://ultramoderngaming.blogspot.co.uk/

@ Rob - I'm not so sure. While I personally love the steampunk figures, it may be that the market is smaller for them than the other ranges?

Theres plenty of interest for the other ranges on other forums. Or maybe the other ranges from Ratnik have more figures available and ready to go at present?

Personally, I'll probably pick up odd figures from the sci-fi range, and, based on the releases revealed so far, at least one of each of the steampunk figures. Great characters, all of them,  :).

I have no interest in the moderns, dwarves or the treasure island-types, but I'm sure they'll go down well with other people. The sculpting on all the Ratnik figures is distinctive, and very, very nice.

At least plans are now in place for them to be available outside Russia,  :D

I love the steampunk minis and will probably get one of each, slowly, but surely.

As for other things, the same guy did some Napoleonic Dwarves, and I would love to get some of them.

How much do you think?  ;)

GW prices?

Hasslefree prices?

Old Glory prices?

 :D

OG please!  lol

But, as with Hasslefree and Ironclad, I'm prepared to pay their prices for one-off "character" models but not for large units like you have to with GW. For units you need to look at Perry prices. Pretty hard to beat considering the quality of the sculpts and the clean castings.
