That set had so many awful sculpts/paint jobs.  It's great to see somebody fix them up and make great figures from them.  Captain Marvel and the Super Skrull were actually good sculpts to begin with but I thought Jarvis was a bad sculpt with bad paint.  You did a really good job on him.  Did you do a head swap on him?  If not you did an even better job!

I always wish I had gotten more Skrulls while the sets were available. These look great, but I can't help that think that Jarvis may not get much play.

You think those guys would just give up already.  Hell, the FF stunted like 2 entire invasions themselves.  I think they need to try another planet already.

Very nicely done; seeing stuff like this does inspire me to condier trying Heroclix for repaints and conversions/new supers ideas.

Great stuff. :)

Great repaints, they look lovely.

I disagree about the Jarvis-Skrulls uselessness for gaming with actually.  As shapeshifters, that guy could assume Sentry form or Hulk form or anything really at a moments notice.  As a result I think that he could be used more or less in any context.

There are loads of Heroclix that are ripe for repainting and conversion.  Some sets/figures have a lot of paint smothering the detail, but a lot are really quite crisp.  They really are an incredible (and cheap) resource for super hero miniature painters.

You should check some out.

cheetor is definitely right,

some of the minis are surprisingly good once the thick factory paint obscuring detail is removed.

I haven't tried it, but does anyone know if Simple Green works on clix paints?
Looking for a set of rules that adaptable for different genres.

I've tried Simple Green multiple times on Clix.  Never works.

haven't tried simple green, i don't think it's available in the UK.

I've used modelstrip  and nail polish with acetone in it, both work quite well,

but the best i've used was neat acetone,  a quick dunk, a scrub with an old toothbrush and job done, although i'd advise following all the safety rules on the bottle as acetone is quite potent.
