Copplestone Chinese HMG
« on: 23 April 2010, 02:02:46 PM »
Alright, started painting my Chinese for Contemptible Little Armies. Here is the HMG NEARLY finished in all its glory. They are for my Warlord army and painted up with the Imperial Chinese uniform (I figure they were defectors or part of the Warlord's garrison before he struck out on his own).

Sorry for the picture being slightly out of focus.

I just need to touch up the skin, the HMG, and the black boots.

Smashin' job, Rich. That's a nice uniform colour there. Really like it.

What Plynkes said. I have the same combo and I have a beef with Mr. Copplestone in regards to it: isn't that Maxim much too puny?

Looks excellant indeed. Are the cap badges still to be done or are they just dark in the picture?

I think if the base was a little lighter, like the scenery behind, it would lift the piece also.

Very nice though.

GAH! Forgot those as well (or formed a mental block because the thought of painting the multi-color star is daunting at that size).

And thanks for all the comments.
