Both are great, but The March West is one of the best VSF entries so far! Outstanding.

The big vehicle is total VSF maddness :-* :-*
You will need to tell us how you built it. I think recognise some of the bits.
I like the paint job on the figures as well.

Thanks gamer Mac!  This was my first foray into VSF and it was a real blast!  I took a glance over on the VSF section of LAF and found some great inspiration while doing a little bit of "research"  It appears that everything is better with rivets! lol

* The base/frame of the terranef is an outdoor electrical box.  I covered it in plasticard panels then covered the rest with various bitz, and rivets made from the plasticard off-cuts.
* Most of the bitz neat the back are metal bitz for a Rhino/Hellhound (the added weight helped balance the model!) except the smoke stack which is from some GW 40K scenery pack (I think - it's the only bit from that kit that I had)
* The drill bit is from a GI Joe Mole (  :-X Greywolf  ;) ) with another bit to finish the tip.
* The turret is from a railroad plastic water tower, cut in half, and a gun made from plastic tubing.
* The treads are from some GW Orc (or Ork) thing with some gear pieces and pistons from a Transformers toy (Rumble and Frenzy!)

It was their hats!  lol
The only true Mountie model is the Pulp Figures driver of the mini-tank (HMCT "Prairie Dog") PYP 1 - Sgt. Prestown of the Yukon

The Martians are Parroom available from Brigade Games. Both fantastic entries, still can't make up my mind
