New company - Four A Miniatures
« on: 07 May 2010, 05:29:53 PM »
From Frothers:

"Just a quick message to let you know I have sorted out a basic web site.

The shop has some miniatures by Jim Bowen Matt Gubser and Paul Muller so far.More miniatures will be added mid June."

http://www.fouraminiatures.com/

I've mentioned it here because of the rather spiffing zombies, but there are mini's that the superhero, VSF and horror fans will like as well.
Waiter, my soup is giggling.

 Thanks for posting this Onebigriver.

With the different miniatures released so far I was not sure where to post it.

More sculpts are at the mould makers now.Quite a few of the up and coming miniatures will be of use in a few different genres. They will also work in a few different scales.

The sculptors involved so far have done some very cool miniatures which I look forward to sharing with you over the next year.

Bigger and better pictures will be going up as soon as I can get things sorted with a good photographer.

The zombies are very cool miniatures.

Agreed! Wish he was smaller though. 38mm is too big for my 28mm old west stuff

38mm is to the top of his hat.The Jim Bowen sculpts are a little larger than other ranges.Jim is like me and thinks some miniatures should be larger than others.Just as in real life.

At the moment I am sitting on around fifty plus sculpts. So a regular release should be okay.

Nice, but at "32mm" and taller, I'm a touch worried that they won't fit in with the rest of my collection.

The sizes are to the tops of heads or hats. Some people like to know how tall miniatures are to different points.I went to the highest point.

The cherubs come with seperate wings which are inter-changable.More of these evil little chaps are planned.

I will let you know when the next set are ready for sale.

Thanks for the comments and the orders placed so far.

 Cheers

Great looking figures. I just ordered Top hat.

When I start my Neverborn gang for Malifaux, I'll be using your cherubs.

Here's a comparison picture for those that are curious.

I posted a review of the Tophat figure on my Blog.

Tophat certainly is tall, but not too tall to fit in with my collection especially as a character rather than as an "extra".   :D

Like Mr Burning I'm not really into Zs, but there are a couple of the others that pique my interest. I'd definitely like to see enlargements of them as although they look good in the current pics, sometimes you can never be certain  ;)
