Okay, I'll stick them in here 

Yeah, I can think of a couple of ways to do stalagtites but they'd get in the way of game play so they aren't going to be used. I was thinking of putting some with the stalagmite formations though. The pillars where the stalagmite and stalagtite have met and fused together. That should imply that they're there. Might just look silly with a flat topped pillar though.

Yes indeed. I'm not fan of the whole "world ends here" flat look. You know like the Graemes Workshop Moria pillars and similar. I think someone did some trees also for LOTR in the same fashion - cut off halfway through.

I just doesn't work. Or.. well - the pillars worked better than the trees anyway.
