Illustrator for my rulebook
« on: May 14, 2010, 03:02:46 PM »
The swedish artist, Marc Grieves, has agreed to make the illustrations for my Great Northern War-rulesystem that I´ve been working on for the last year. He will send me the first illustrations at the end of june. Here´s some lovely samples from his homepage.  :)

Wow, very nice work. The picture of the artillery officers would be great for a caption contest!  lol

WOW! is all I can say.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

I have no idea, I've been working on the rules for a year or so! Hopefully within a year!

Can you give an overview of the rules? Just the basics like game scale (whole battles, skirmishes, etc) and roughly how large an area is needed to play the typical battle? Also will these work for Marlborough and friends? I've always been tempted by the period and uniforms.
